On my 2002 C5 corvette the buttons on the right side of the instrument panel that control the information you select by pressing 1 Fuel 2 Gauges 3 Trip 4 Options and so on, on mine all the lights are out. Is there a way to change these without removing the entire instrument panel cluster? Thanks in advance.

The cluster has to come out to replace the bulbs.

A few years ago my DIC completely failed. I had to have the cluster rebuilt. It is an all afternoon job to get the cluster out, but it is a good opportunity to replace all of your lighting with new LED bulbs and service your HUD if it needs it. Mine did. It was a lot of work, but I made it worth my time by cleaning all the HVAC ducts, applying squeak tape to quiet the dash down and replace a seized passenger side blend door. One thing that will really help is a flexible bit holder like this one from Home Depot.

It is worth its weight in gold!
