I thought it was 3 inch lap join clamps needed? Looking to do these headers/x-pipe matched with my billy boat PRT
You need both 3" and 2.5" (front section is 3" and connection to factory exhaust is 2.5"). I posted the 2.5" as an example (fastest to find a picture of).
Has anyone on here added high flow cats to the x-pipe that comes with this kit? If so, can you post up pics, and details of what you did. I don't want to go without cats, that is the ONLY reason that I have not considered this kit. Yeah, the Kooks are much more expensive, but I can get them ceramic coated and with cats.
Kooks with cats and coated…you’re inching close to $4k before install. Now, it would be pretty sweet!
Currently fabricating a speed engineering system with flow master race cats and V bands coupled to a magnaflow 15660 cat back. Here is pictures of it currently, should be done in a few days will post more pictures and video of sound on new thread later.
