before asking I would like to notice that the picture of the car wasn't taken by me ,I found it in the internet, I wanted to ask a question about that C5 Corvette, its abandoned in China in Guangzhou inside Ferrari dealership with 2 other cars (Ferrari 575M and Porsche Carrera GT) for many years, rumors say it was the showroom was closed in year 2010 but not sure, anyway my question is does anyone know the story of the Corvette or anyone know who own these cars? is it a US car imported to China?, if you have any idea let me know about it.
If that goes nowhere, try to access public records to determine who the property owner is, then cross-reference that information to a local phone directory or send mail to that address.
Your state might allow you to learn the existing owner by running a VIN Check. In that case you could legally obtain the VIN from the car and go from there. Do not assume that using VIN information to find someone is legal in your state.

This appears to be another one of those "classic" threads where the OP is posing several questions, but doesn't provide enough background information, for an accurate answer to be provided. The main question in my mind is, what the OP has in mind, such as, does he want to somehow purchase the car? Secondly, and equally as important, is if he does want to purchase the car, where is he located? OR, is he just curious as to how the car wound up where it currently is.

It looks like a nice 2003 Corvette Z06. It was certainly made in the USA. Beyond that I can't tell you anything about how that exact car got to be there. It's actually not at all uncommon for supercars to be abandoned in China. To the OP, it will likely be nearly impossible for you to legally own this car. Even if you could, it would certainly be much cheaper to just purchase one in good condition from someone in the US or the EU.

Based on what I've heard about other sports/exotics getting abandoned, the owner of the C5 may have had a large tax bill, owed money to someone, or needed to leave the country ASAP. Otherwise, who would just leave beind such a nice car ?
I imagine C5 corvettes are very rare in China. Travel to the geographic location of the car and do the research to find out who owned the store ? As noted, it might be easier to buy a different C5 Z06 from the US and import it yourself.
Nobody on this forum will be able to give you definitive answers. Maybe hire a lawyer to advise you ?
OP, I suggest watching this video (Ed Bolian from VinWiki) and it might give you some clues on supercars that are collecting dust in China and what the process is like: Rescuing the Cheap Chinese-Canadian Murci SV
the last sentance in this article pretty much sums it up...."Considering their location and the laws surrounding ultra-expensive imports in China, anyone trying to snag them up will likely have to jump through a lot of hoops to get anywhere." This Carrera GT Trapped in an Abandoned Chinese Dealership (roadandtrack.com)

Of the three, the Porsche would bring well over a million dollars on Bring a Trailer...definitely worth researching if you have Chinese contacts.
It isn't for sale. If nobody has gotten the Porche out of there, you have no chance of getting that Corvette. Lucky for you there are plenty of other nice C5 Z06s that ARE for sale. Take your pick.
