How do you go about finding the build date of your Vette? I looked at the Bowling Green website, I saw a phone number but couldn't see an email contact.
Is there another way to go about this? Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mark
I really didn't want to remove that front bumper Smoken1, for the time being it is being driven only on the dry days and there ain't too many of those left. Getting to know my Vette.
Thanks for the help guys. I found the build date by googling

Go to a dealer and ask if they will run a vehicle history report. If they will, the report will list the build date - at least it did for the 2003 I had.
97Chuck69, I had to forget about 1997 because this 2002 showed up with only 45,000 km (28,000 miles) in mint condition. It even smells new. I had no other option but to buy it.
Cheers,
Mark

Vetteman Jack, I did go to the local GM dealership, they did a vehicle history report but the build date was not included.

One of the sites (maybe here) has vin batches by day.
Aside from a short run of missing mid 03 info, you can see what vin they started and finished at on what day to determine what order yours was built on the day for an estimated time. Then look up the day of the week the date fell on.
My 03 z51:
Wednesday June 26th 2002 - date my C5 was built. 4th day of all 2003 production. 12th car produced that day
