Looks like I need a new battery, after a week in the garage I have to jump it. I bought the car about 5 years ago with the same battery so I think it’s time. Not too concerned about price but don’t want to get hosed either. I’m looking at getting a sealed battery, AGM, preferably top posts. Any suggestions on one that fits a c 5?
Thanks

I just bought my 2nd Duracell AGM this summer
from Sams Club. 1st one was about 5 1/2 yrs old. still started fine but was reading about 12.2 volts. I think East Penn makes them for duracell.
btw, if you can afford it do the same but use a AGM. I did in my Jag and its very noticeable how easy the engine turns over -vs- a std lead acid battery.

look above, I started a thread on the subject last week .........
I also like the AC deco, because my first choice is more expensive by $100 and heavier, by 15 lbs. Two major disadvantages when compromise is not needed.
Of course, meeting specs is the primary buying trigger, but I guess another consideration effects my happiness, as trivial as it sounds. Given a reasonable choice I would rather not have a brand associated with a big box discount store or a second tier parts business staring at me every time I pop the hood. Walmart , pep boys, might use the same exact builder as AC delco, I just think AC Delco looks better in a chevy.
