Leather Seat Covers
Anyone have a good experience getting replacement C5 seat covers? I’ve found RIDIES around $500 and ECKLERS $1400 not sure why such a price difference as most people are equally happy. I want the C5 Logo embroidered on the Seat, but apparently its copyrighted and new laws prohibit companies from sewing the logo on without giving GM 50% of their profit. So I may try to find embroidery company to embroider them on. Did anyone ever do this? How are your leather seats doing? I only have 70K miles on my Silver Bullet, silver grey, but drivers is ripping bad now here in AZ. Thanks, Doug

I had Ridies covers and seat foam installed on my stock seats earlier this year. Great improvement to the seats! I'm very happy with the change. My 00 has about 90K and the stock leather covers and original foam were very beat up underneath the wet okole covers I previously had. My $0.02 on the logo is that it's not visible if the driver's seat is occupied, as it should be, so why bother paying for them?

I just got a pair of rides seat covers and they are HORRIBLE fit! I had them professionally installed and the installer stated "these are the worst fitting C5 seat covers I've ever installed."
The leather itself is very nice, but they cut everything wrong. I'm in the process of sending them back and I'll be going with something else.

I would recommend finding a good local upholstery shop, and having them do custom seat covers for you. Any good place will be able to embroider whatever you want on them, and you be able to choose whatever style and stitching options that you want.
