Take the painted cover off and you can tighten the 4 white screws to lower the lid clearance so it can sit lower/flush.

Needs some adjustment. It's really annoying for people with OCD to get the bumper/fender/headlight cover gaps equal and nice LOL.

As others have said, it can be adjusted to be better. However, I don't think there's anything actually wrong with the car. It isn't damaged or anything like that. You'll just need to play with it until everything lines up the way you would like.

Also, congrats on your new Corvette, and welcome to the forum!

it looks better than most, I tried to get my hood and stuff better and after a day of fruitless labor put it back where it was to begin with !!!

The alignment of the panels looks to be a bit off. Good luck with any adjustments you may try.
