First Corvette Purchase Questions

The seller of the 2002 Corvette I mentioned had promised someone else the first opportunity to look at the car and they ended up buying it. Fortunately my search didn't last too much longer as I found a 2007 C6 with 24k miles that I made a deal on today. I will be picking it up tomorrow.

Thanks for the link; you found a lovely, low miles and obviously well-maintained Corvette there! I think you made a great decision. Had a C6 been in our budget, I'd likely have bought one. I actually started looking at C4s and ended up with a C5. Wishing you many miles and many smiles...and don't forget to wave!

Might be a nice car but it's twice the price or more of a nice C5 and its not twice as fast, whatever that means. Its actually has a lower top speed than a C5 that's 20 years old.
