I recently bought a white C5 and the road crud and stone chips are damaging the fender edges, front and back. What have you guys done to resolve the issue? I'm thinking 3M film or splash guards. Do you have pictures of splash guards on a white car?

When I had my C5s, I ran a set of the stealth splash guards from RPI Designs. No drilling required and they do protect the car.
A word of caution though, read reviews in the Transactions Feedback section before purchasing. On an item like this, they may have the product in stock and can get it to you in a timely manner.
The C6 version is really nice once you have them trimmed up..
Can you give some details about where you trimmed and what tool. Mine came in today. Haven't really had a chance to look at it. Also how did you mount them?
The no modification required slim splash guards others are posted are good options and I will be putting them on my car at some point. There is a vendor who sells them for a decent price.
My car came one 3m clear guard that the prior owner wasn't not able to change because it chipped the paint and now has started to delaminate the paint from the fender and will probably rip off a good sized chunk of paint if I ever tried to remove it now.
First repair and paint the road rash.
Buy either 3M or X Pel ,cut your patterns and apply.
Then buy some slash guards ,trim and install. You are
not committing a sin if you drill some holes for installation.
Good luck
