Thinking about dual LED light bars, for daytime running, and turn signals. Putting them in the area where fog lights reside. Hook up to either power source of running lights.
Anyone do this?
So what are your actual drl/turn signal housings gonna do? Fog light area won't be visible from the side and I'd think being more near center of the car's front face would look awkward for turn signals. Photoshop something up maybe?

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I personally think the DRLs are pretty bright themselves but it could look OK depending on what you do.

If you're considering an upgrade, a RAM RHO Lightbar might give you better placement and visibility overall.
Yes, it's a common mod. Use a relay wired to your running light circuit so they come on automatically with the car. For turn signals, tap into the existing turn signal wires but add a resistor or load equalizer to prevent hyper flashing. Make sure the LED bars you choose have the amber option built in or buy separate amber pods for the turn function. Check local laws as some states restrict colored DRLs or aftermarket turn signal placement.
