Default Head Unit Question

Looking to update the head unit in my C5. Does anyone know if this head unit will fit without replacing the bezel. I have not seen any double DIN replacement bezels that look close enough to factory.

the joying unit really is the only one out there that fits the stock bezel. but there are compromises. very long thread on that in here, just search on joying.
If you bite the bullet and go DD, options open up significantly wider.
DD mods used to make one that was great, but I think he's out of business.
I just went and leather wrapped the entire interior, that solved the mis-match problem :-)

That looks to be a double din to me so you'll most likely need to find a new bezel for it.

There’s a long post related to a head unit model a lot of guys have went with that fits the factory bezel. I went with a double din and color matched the center console. I didn’t want to go with the Joying for various reasons plus I get the larger double din.

I went with the double din from metra, and got a 7 inch pioneer head unit. I had Best Buy do the install, I know the gentleman that worked on my car. The install went fine. Everything works.

FYI, if you buy the head unit from Best Buy, they do free installs. Sorry, I don’t have a picture, all the pictures look the same unless you have that nice leather wrapped interior or painted bezels, which I do not have.

JMG2, did you ever get the seat harness adapter that kept the telescopic column working?
