Default Hood rear seal internal
I took out hood seal (rear) and inside it I found something like this:

It seems to me that it should be the entire length of the seal but it is only 17 inches. I would like to buy longer but I don't know how to find it. What is it called?

You can get a roll of that round gasket at Home Depot or Lowes...

That's also where I got a roll of teardrop shaped gasket and made my own taillight seal gaskets...
years ago...

Backer Rod, numerous sizes/materials and quality options. Interior shops should have a higher quality type used to make windlace mouldings.
