nothing yet but got a call from driver last night said today he was in a town 35mins away
May as well be on Jupiter. I hate these leechy bastards. They're all the same. Try getting a quote on an e-system. Your phone will immediately light up with at least 10 transporters trying to get you to use them. They bait and switch the prices. ALL of them do. It's a free for all and you're Lucky Pierre. It's not like you can say one guy said he will do it for this much and can you beat it?
Once they have you, they start massaging the price until you're paying top dollar for a crappy hauler.
Like what is going on here. Sweet talk until the act is over and they have your money. Now you're their bitch. i wish you only the best. Make sure you inspect the car when it comes. THOROUGHLY! Make them wait until you're done like they made you wait for them to get there.

I admire anyone who will pay Corvette prices for a car then have it delivered after the sale. I bought mine in OKC and flew out to see the car and close the deal.
Sometimes, its cheaper to ship than driving back. I shipped mine from Florida to Detroit for $510. Couldn't fly down, pay food and gas, and hotel after one night for that price. Plus, didn't have to worry about anything mechanical on a new to me car. But, this was all in 2012.
told your story to my wife, she laughed and then said, 'tell him to try going through labor for 26 hrs' ! You'll get a whole 'nother meaning of patience !

You’re probably right about the cost, I never even checked on shipping as I’m so distrustful that I had to see the car and drive it before writing the check. I was buying from a dealer but I don’t trust pictures or car dealerships. My deal took place in 2010. Glad the op finally received his car.
So, did the car show up and was it all OK in terms of condition? Sure hope so - I can understand your anxiety over this situation.
