Good luck bc.

I've all but given up. The shipping is just too large of a hurdle.

Even if I live on Craigslist I've yet to see one pop up in the last couple years.

They are often on Ebay and the forum classifieds usually with shipping in the 250-400 dollar range and or local pickup only.

It took me a couple weeks to find one with no luck and then randomly someone messaged me on here about one. More than I wanted to pay but was tired of searching. Search here and Facebook groups. May take a little time but you will eventually come across one. When searching Facebook, check the local cities around you as well especially if you travel. My set was just sitting in someone's rafters in the garage and came across my post looking for a set.

Admittedly, I don't know much about C5 exhaust systems. Could I use a cat back OR an axle back system? I'm not interested in aggressive sound or more HP but wouldn't mind a little increase. I listened to videos on youtube where an owner installed a ti system and it sounded sweet. I actually saw one that was a GM OEM system online. Big bucks... I'm surprised that there's no after market suppliers making them. I guess that I'll just keep my eyes open for an opportunity. Thanks for the info guys...

Keep looking - I found one pop up on fleabay and the guy shipped it. You just have to keep looking. The price was really fair and I couldn't believe how well he shipped them.

They come up for sale in the C5 Parts for Sale section, but unless you can find one close by, shipping can be a killer. Best of luck in your search.

Wouldn’t hurt to post a WTB in the forum classifieds. They are definitely on eBay, and cast a wide net on Facebook Marketplace; maybe search 150 mi.

The was a similar thread recently, and a member read it and offered the set. These cat backs are worth the effort. Prices continue to rise. They have a nice low rumble at idle, will make some noise at wide open throttle, but are very civil under normal driving.

Keep looking....Z06 owners are constantly taking them off for louder exhausts...they keep popping up all the time ...don't give up...i finally found a nice set i that i drove for 2 hours to pick up...it was a nice drive and i made a day of it...eating lunch at a nice restaurant then drove home with my Titaniums ...

Nice low mileage clean set......

Here's another example of getting something supposedly hard to get...I searched for a long time for a set of NOS Z06 Z16 polished wheels and no luck...Then i advertised that i would pay a lot for a nice set...bingo...the next day someone emailed me with a set he had in his climate controlled garage for 15 years in the original boxes and he never put them on because he sold his Vette and he tried to sell them but he got typical scavenger lowballer offers...then he saw my wanted to buy ad and bingo...
Again, money talks and BS walks. I may overpay but i know how to get what i want...
Just for reference, here is a pic on the way to the shop to have them put on...
Good luck on your search OP...

Ugh those wheels are beautiful! I paid $500 for my 5k mile Ti exhaust and never looked back. Love the sound of it and the look of the tips from the rear.

I bought a 5000 mile, 2003 ZO6 that was owned by a collector, but unfortunately it was purchased first by the guy I bought it from. He took it straight to a local muffler shop and had the original exhaust cut just behind the cats and a Corsa cat back installed. To make it worse, the shop told him the titanium exhaust wasn’t worth anything so he left it at the shop. I wanted the car back to bone stock and after looking for about a month and found these on Facebook Marketplace, taken off at 1k miles, put in an attic and forgotten about. I paid a chunk for them and made a long drive to get them. You can search all of Marketplace using this.

As others have said, post a WTB here on the forum. Say exactly what you want, and how far you're willing to go to get it. Then be patient. It took a few weeks, but I actually had 2 to choose from for less than $500.00. I drove to pick it up, and was VERY happy with the transaction.

OK Thanks to all. Lots of success stories in this thread so I'll do what's suggested and hope for the best.

I would bet there are quite a few Z06 owners of lower mileage examples like me who are just hanging onto them, despite having cat-backs on the car, simply for the reason of having the potential of returning the car to stock if someone else wanted in the future. Hearing the difficulty of getting another set makes me want to hang onto mine just for that reason alone.
