I notice they didn't mention the EBCM or fuel crossover issues. Generally good info though. Also that euro front plate bolted to the C5 did NOT look good. Guess they didn't really have a choice though.

For some of those items, they did not appear in every model year. The oil consumption issue was really limited to a specific model year (2001) as GM revised the rings for 2002. I will say my ‘00 did have that problem though.

Jack, my 2000 had a slight problem with consumption, too. I bought it in the heat of Summer, 23,000 miles on it. When the first cool Fall morning arrived, for the first 15 seconds after cold starting, it sounded like a Diesel!! Piston slap.....
