Ask a rediculous price (as most people do) and put OBO and take what you can get. Or be a good Vette community owner and sell them for what you think they are worth. Fair to good with a few miles left on tires that are less than 6 years old sounds like $400 a reasonable price to start at.

$400 sounds about right, if there is no curb rash and the finish on the wheels looks good - just be sure that they are truly chrome and not the high polished wheels. Remember the C5 did not come from the factory with chrome wheels, but they could be added from an aftermarket source.
Just purchased new wheels and tires. What would the value be of a set of OEM Chrome wheels off a 2002 Vert.
I would consider them in fair to good condition. Tires will be included as they are mounted. Just wanted some opinions
on what I should ask for these. Also shipping would be involved, so not sure how much that would be.
TIA Frank
Are you positive they are OEM wheels ? Original OEM wheels that came on my '04 were an option at $1295 (described on the window sticker as "Highly polished aluminum wheels" .
I HATE that any company names itself OEM ANYTHING!!! OEM should be Original Equipment Manufacturer, not an aftermarket company. To the best of my knowledge, OEM now means an aftermarket wheel company that produces re-pop wheels. TOTALLY confusing. From my experience on the C5 used parts for sale, the original Speedlines carry a higher resale value than OEM. DOH!!!!!!

There's a company out of Ontario called NOS Reproductions (NOS = new old stock) that I've ordered some parts from before, and was intrigued with their name choice since they only sell aftermarket new parts. They only seem to sell carpet now on their website.
Those are clear coated polished aluminum. The date code on the one tire I can see in the pics is 4912 - so the 49th week of 2012. With 9 year old tires, if you plan on shipping them, dismount those and throw them in the trash.
Those wheels are fairly easy to find and not really super desirable. $3-400 is fair since they appear to be in really good shape.

Do you mean aluminum wheels with chrome plating? Because in pic #4 on the edge right below the valve stem , you can see the edge of the chrome plating...
They may be aluminum wheels chrome plated but they are definitely chrome plated...
If you want to end the debate on whether they're factory GM or not look on the inside of the spoke. If they're legit, you'll see a GM stamp. If they're generic chrome plated cast replicas (which I believe them to be), they won't have that stamp.
I sold a set of replicas from my MY99 in 2018-2019 without much headache for $400, but as @Stingroo said, date code 2012 tires will hurt your case.
If you put your car away for storage they're a great item to have on hand to store the car on. I have a set of wagon wheels with Goodyear EMTs from like 2002 I use to store the car on so I can properly store my summer tires.

Nope......these are GM original wheels that someone had chrome plated......GM did not offer chrome plated original thin spoke wheels
I still have my beautiful original polished spoke wheels with tires mounted as spares incase i ever sell my Z06 Z16 polished wheels...
