Hello, I am a previous C5, C6, and current C7 owner. Now i am also a C5 owner once again! I had been keeping an eye out on the C5 market for a couple of years, specifically 03 and 04 cars. While i was hoping to find a nice 50th Anniversary edition, instead i found a low mileage (30k) 2004 Magnetic Red. Absolutely beautiful and babied.
Needless to say we are quite happy. Here are the pics:
I love the C7, they just seem to sacrifice a little more interior room than the 5/6. Still have a major desire for a Sebring Orange Grand Sport, though....

You know, in my memory the C5 had more room inside but honestly after having this car a couple of days it doesn't seem like much difference. The biggest thing i notice is that the C5 is a bit shorter than the C7.
Prices are high on them right now, but the Orange GS is very nice.
Nice pair of Vettes you now have - the C5 looks good alongside the C7.
Thanks, they really do look good together. C7 is more aggressive and the C5 is more of a classic beauty. Always loved the C5 body style which i think is why i came back to it. That and the COLOR. After 3 shades of gray (spiral gray, cyber gray, and shark gray) i wanted something with a bit more pop.
Congrats! Both cars look great. Great choice of color. I chose to keep and modify my C5 instead of getting a C7. I certainly respect your choice to have both.

Thank you. I traded the C5 in for the C6, and traded the C6 in for the C7. After buying the C7 i made the decision that i would not trade it no matter what. Now that the C7 is paid off i have been contemplated another vette. Not really interested in the C8 due to astronomical prices, i would have liked a C7 ZR-1 but those are high as the moon as well.
So it came down to the C5 or C6. I really like the LS3 in the C6, but honestly i prefer the look of the C5 over the C6. Something about that classic lines and curves versus the sharper lines, also i guess i like the pop up headlights too. So it was a matter of just finding the right car in the right color. As soon as i saw this one it really grabbed me - always liked Mag Red!

Mag red.....Beautiful color, especially in the sun. 3 or 4 years back, there was a 2000 mag red, 6 spd vert with the mag wheels for sale in Michigan, had just over 10,000 miles on it. The guy was very picky on who he'd sell it to. He wanted like $20,000.00-$21,000.00 for it. I wanted it bad, but it sold before I could get over to look at it. I'd have bought it. Only option it didn't have was the mag ride, which is good or bad, depending on taste.....

Oh man in todays prices that would be a steal, especially with that low of mileage!
