2003 headlights
I’m new to corvette and just bought the 50th anniversary edition. When I start the car the headlights open and turn on without the switch being on. I can’t turn them off. The car is in the garage so I’m wondering if it’s an auto setting for when it’s in the dark. Help?

You most likely have the twilight sentinel turned on. If you do it want that feature active, you can turn it off through the options button on the right side of the gauge cluster.

I agree that you have twilight sentinel on. This function automatically turns the light on and off based on the amount of ambient light. There is no sun in the garage, that is why the lights come on and stay on. If you pulled out of your garage(on a sunny day), the lights would shut off after about 30 seconds or so. As mentioned, you can turn this feature off in the the options of the DIC. Personally, I like this function. However, I know lots of people turn it off to keep their lights from coming on in their garage. Congrats on your C5.
