APR Performance Splitter tutorial of sorts
I started by oogling my splitter then putting my car on wood blocks to gain a little elevation. this didn't work as much as I wanted it to so I later moved to jacking up the driver side of the car. you can live with 1 jack but doing both sides will help later on. the initial screws on the top of the bumper are 10mm and the pin things I popped up with a screw driver a little then used a pair of plyers to remove it entirely. There are 5 7mm screws in each wheel well with another 3 on the bottom in front of the wheel flap thing on either side. then there are 2 really annoying long nuts at the very top and back of the bumper. These are 10mm, then you also have to remove the 2 10mm nuts holding on the sides of the front air damn (you don't have to remove the middle 2) then there are 9 7mm bolts that hold the radiator shroud on. then you have to bend the bumper off the metal support on the underside and it comes off and up.
I started taping the splitter to the bumper but never got it just right so I ended up using clamps like the instructions said. then I took "equal" measurements and started drilling. I know I didn't do it perfect but it seems to work well. You'll need to put the support beams really close to the bottom of the front license plate cover or you won't have enough length in the supports to get the splitter flat or at a downward angle. You'll also need to shave the inside edges of the very back of the splitter to clear your wheels ESPECIALLY if you have big wheels and tires.
All in all it works pretty well and I can noticeably feel an increase in downforce and grip past 50mph.
