Default Wheel offsets

I'm looking to get some new wheels for my 2004 coupe. It is currently running stock tire size and rims. I found rims I like (and can afford 8=) ) but the front and rear offsets are 56/57 (they are C7 Z06 repros). I understand the stock setup has 58/65mm offsets, would that be an issue for me?

Thanks

Offset is a function of width.

Do you have a link to the wheels?

If the width of the set you're buying is the same as your stock stuff (8.5 front, 9.5 rear), then yes, they'll fit fine and they added a little offset to push them out a wee. You could go up to about 11" wide and make those offsets work, but at 10.5" width it'll start to get tricky. Post the wheel widths of the repros.

Okay, yeah, so like KITT said - they'll be pushed out a bit more (2mm more up front, 8mm out back. They'll bolt right on.

All I can say is if I was spending $1300 on wheels I'd go for 18" and 19" sizing, not stock 17" and 18". Just going up that bit looks so much better. Regardless - see what sort of tire selection there is for the wheels you choose before you pull the trigger.

Yeah, I hear ya. That has crossed my mind, been reading about how hard it is these days to find the original 17/18 sizes. Been trying to decide on getting wheels now and taking chances on when I need tires or waiting and savin' up until I can afford both tires and rims.

No issue finding the base car sizes. The Z06 sizes are difficult to find but you don't need those.
