We need more info to answer that. The car looks pretty good in the pics, and in the current market that would appear to be a pretty great price. However, we don't even see what the mileage is on the car. We are told nothing about the car. We can't see the interior. We don't know if there are any known mechanical issues. Does it have a clean title? What is the service history on the car? Has it been in any accidents? Without knowing anything more, it's really impossible to give you any better advice. I will say you'll want a pre-purchase inspection before you buy anything. Good luck on your search.
You a fixit kinda guy? Low budget kinda money situation? Lookin for a project? You got good patience?... Perhaps double that $ for a care free ride..... I'm just sayin🙄.
If the tires and shocks are good and the EBCM is working I would say yes its a good price.
also no other glaring issues and will take an inspection sticker.
Okay, that's a little better. The car looks pretty nice for the mileage. However, it looks like there might be some warning lights on. When figuring price, mileage is a big factor. However, with that said a C5 can easily go 300K+ miles if it is well cared for. Mileage that high will lower the price compared to the average '00 C5 though. I can also see that this car is an automatic, and it has the F45 selective ride control. It has the base (non-sport) seats, and appears to have a HUD. In today's CRAZY market, this car might be worth the asking if it passes a pre-purchase inspection. However, if it has any sort of serious mechanical issues, I would pass on it.
For 6 grand more you get a much nicer car. These things are dirt cheap right now. I picked mine up w/ 75k on it for $14,700. Already had 2-3k in exhaust mods I didn't have to do (long tubes and an x-pipe). Huge bonus to me.
I can't remember which but there are some replacement parts on the pre-2003s that are a **** to find. I think one of them is the EBCM. I think a few people would tell you to search 2003s and newer.

Most **** parts are on the '97-'00 cars. '01-'04 parts are more readily available. Sucks, because I have a '00!!!

except it would be a "great" price. Plus, there is always wiggle room so you should be able to knock off $500
Pictures typically only show the cosmetic, but sometimes cosmetic flaws could reveal deeper issues. Something is not right about the center console- that's a seriously huge gap (look directly underneath the leading edge of the console lid) and that could be indicative of a problem. Just what, is hard to say; but that gap is not normal.
Driver's seat cushion is shot...which is normal for this car with that many miles.
More important are the mechanicals and that is best assessed by a competent mechanic.
Looks like it possibly has EBCM issues based on the ABS, tire pressure, and traction control lights. Beware of this. It is fixable but expensive. Great price if the car will pass California inspection and smog, and it has a clean title.

a few years ago maybe. Prices are through the roof right now. You may have gotten a good deal, but one data point does not make a trend.
If there are no mechanical issues, that's a great price in today's market.

could also be that the ignition was just turned on... lotsa lights turn on when the key goes to accessory .
Are those lights on while the car is running?
Any codes (you can get them from the DIC)?
also, what's that port next to the traction control **** on the center console? looks like the previous owner added in some charging port ? That would make me wary, what else did he do?
I love modifying my car, but can't STAND buying something someone else modified, if something breaks, no manual, no diagrams, no nothing. You figure it out yourself and hope previous owner did a logical job.
