I have a bit of fender gap im not fond of and I was thinking of lowering the stock bolts just a little and maybe going a size up in profile in the back or both. Then lowering more. As of now with the tires the way they are the spedo is correct because I went up in wheel size and down on tire. Will going up on the back throw anything drastic off aside from the speedo? Any electronics affected?
Whatever you find that's one good looking car. I just went up one size and one size wider resulting the same tire height. You already know all this though. I also tried to move the bolts that control ride height. They wanted to strip so I left it alone. I would like a lower ride height though. I think a shop may have to get involved here on my behalf.
Did you have any difficulty with your bolts?

I had not tried it yet. I took it to a friend's to do it and he thinks it would be way too low. So I got hesitant. I was just tossing ideas around to possibly get rid of some of the gap. Lowering/bigger tire etc

Thank you for the response. I was thinking it might screw something up electronically. By what your saying it would be best just to go up on profile so they are all the same even though the spedo would be off..
IIRC, stock tires are 25.5” front and 26.5” rear diameter. If you want a 27.5” rear tire, you will need a ~26.45” front tire (I would think that will rub) to retain the stock bias. Sorry, my technique is to look at actual measured diameter and width in inches; there can often be a variance between what the sidewall says versus the tape measure.
No. That's what I found anyway. When you move one tire size up or down it really makes zero diff.
I went from 275/40/18 to a 295/35/18 and the tire height was almost exactly the same. However the contact patch with the ground is almost 2 inches wider.

From tire rack this is the info I found for what I have vs going to 35.
