Default Engine Parts Pricing

I have some parts off a '99 LS1 which are extra to my build, but I am unable to find prices for to gauge what my prices should be. Anyone out there willing to tell me if there is any demand for (and if so, what a fair price would be) the following parts:
AIR crossover tube & fittings -
Coil/fuel rail covers -
Windage tray (bolts to block) -
Oil pan pickup tube -
LS1 engine (47K miles, intact, runs excellent but has piston slap in #7) -

If more info is needed, please ask. AND, thank you for your help!!

best thing is search Ebay and look to see the average range of prices and weed out ridiculously high and low numbers...also consider shipping costs as they are nuts right now...I have parted out 2 complete C5's mostly here and Ebay. You need to price your parts either with shipping or buyer pays shipping.

You can get a good idea of what that is by figuring out how big the box is and how much it weighs then pick a place far away as possible to use for your estimate say Oregon to Miami that is probably the most it is going to be. Then check FEDEX and USPS to see which is the best option...you would be surprised how close it is sometimes.

The engine is certainly going to be freight on a pallet.

Good luck

Moving this to C5 General for comments on pricing of the items. When you have an idea on value for the parts, you can repost the FS thread in the C5 Parts for Sale section. Please do not turn this into a FS thread in the C5 General section. Thanks.

Thank you. I didn't want to say FS or WTB or WTT but The site wouldn't allow an appropriate one and required one of those three...

Thanks for your thoughts. Ever sold any of these parts?

I don't think there will be a huge market for the AIR components. A lot of people choose to delete the AIR system entirely when they put on headers. You might get a few bucks out of someone who needs it to pass emissions.
If the fuel rail covers are in like new condition, you might be able to get ~$50.
The LS1 would be between $1500-$2500 ($3K without the piston slap)
Oil Pan pickup tube you'll maybe get $15. Not worth your time.
Same with the windage tray. You could get a few bucks, but probably not worth your time.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! I was thinking much the same thing about the items. I'm thinking the coil covers may as well stay with the engine. The pickup tubes are getting hard to find; I bought one through RockAuto, and no one else even listed them. Again, I do appreciate you taking the time to help with your thoughts and advice..................OregonDan

Good thinking on keeping the coil covers with the motor. I needed some for years, and never found just the right deal. FWIW: I have never seen covers for only $50, or I wouldn't have gone without for years!!!

I based my estimate on the fact that they are used, and that they are not the red Z06 covers. They're also not custom painted or anything. As such, they're not worth as much as other options out there. However, I also think they should be included with the engine. Honestly, I would just include it all together.

GM 12561502 and 12561503, black, labeled “intake manifold cover” for some reason, $42 at Rock Auto, brand new, red lettering and all.

@OregonDan Any chance of parting the engine if so I need the intake. As long as the price is decent. PLEASE!

Probably $42 EACH!! $84 minimum. Not bad, but I was referring to a pair for $50, since you need 2. I've yet to see 2 for $50, but I've probably missed a good deal somewhere......
