Good evening! I have a C-5 with chrome taillight lens covers. They were on the car when I bought it and I like them! 2 have the chrome peeling off? I ordered replacements from American Corvette. They are a great company for corvette parts, but these are not the same. I am returning these. Does anyone know when to get them?
Mine really look like chrome!
Thanks, Gene

I do not recall seeing very many (if any) negative comments from the members when someone wants to change their hood, rear panels to accommodate larger wheels, front/rear bumpers, wheels, etc. It seems like it only comes when someone wants to do chrome or more badgering. The OP did not ask for opinions on whether he should have the chrome tail lights. He asked for help identifying the ones he wants to replace.
I hope someone can identify the taillights so you can replace. It is your car, so mod it the way you want.

If I remember correctly, the ones you have were aftermarket that may not be produced anymore. I did a Google search on C5 tail light covers and came up with ones that seemed close but not exact. You may want to look at those to see if any would work. Also keep an eye on auction sites to see if a good quality used set comes up. Good luck and just ignore the fashion police.
