I posted this in the C3 section and trying here too as I have a C5 also.
I know a lot of you have QuickJacks. I've used mine only twice since I bought it and it worked great. I go to use it on my C3 this morning and one side lifts but the other doesn't. I switched hydraulic lines and it follows the line so it is a problem with the pump. The fluid is topped off and everything looks okay.
I called the company but they are closed today. I really wanted to get some work done on the car so trying here to see if anyone has any ideas. I don't want to start taking the pump apart and void the warranty.
Sorry, I miss understood. I have had my tank off on my 5000 and there is filter with magnet. I have had problems in the beginning getting the fittings to properly lock. A disaster in the making seeing one side of the Vette going up and the not the other. I wish you luck.
I've had to loosen those connections on the pump before to get the line to snap onto it. It almost seemed like it had a hydrolic lock or the line had pressure in it still. This is a different issue than what you're having but maybe loosen the connections at the pump and then connect the lines. Tighten the fittings and see what happens. Also maybe try bleeding the air out of it.

No worries. Thanks for trying. Yes, pretty concerning watching one side lift and not the other.

I'll try loosening the fittings and see what happens. I don't want to take it apart until I talk to the QJ people. It's still under warranty so don't want to risk that. Thanks.
They'll probably send you a new connector for the restricted pump port for starters. The factory connectors don't leak when putting them together, disconnecting or storing them but that feature and them being aluminum can cause them to bind. One of the connectors on my QJ became difficult to plug in and finally it couldn't be plugged in at all. I bought a complete set of stainless steel connectors on e-bay for around $100 and replaced all the factory aluminum ones. The new connectors leak a drop or two of oil at assembly or disassembly but there's no binding and no side pins to align, they are much easier to use and when the jack is needed it can be used without dealing with connector problems. Here's a picture of the new fittings:

I have my quick jack in my moving pod at the moment, so are the connections the 1/2" or 3/4"? I'm going to assume they're the 1/2" version. If you happen to know off hand then I'll order myself a set too. Mine are getting hard for connect too.
QJ sent me an email saying it might be the fittings. I swapped the fittings and tried it again but the lower port is still bad. They said I would need to replace the power unit (pump). They do not list the power unit in their parts section of the website. It is out of warranty but I'm not very happy as I have only used it twice.
I guess I'll try to take it apart and see if I can fix it. I also thought maybe getting a splitter and running both lines off the the working upper port. Not sure if that will work or not.
