Default Clutch Curiosity

Can anyone tell me about the Z06 (vette?) hydralic clutch system.

Seems to me that the clutch pedal feel changes when the clutch is actuated in rapid succession. Is this because of an in-line diaphragm that I have heard about in the hydraulic system? Someone once asked me if I had drilled out this diaphragm. Of course I had not and was not aware of the problem until recently. I now notice the pedal feel changes from time to time. Especially when on the road course.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

My understanding is that there is a restictor in the line that limits the rate of engagement to protect the driveline from shock loads for those who like to sidestep the clutch at 5K revs.

Debris in the system from cup rubber wear essentially thickens the fluid and might result in the inconsistency you report. A thorough flush of the clutch system will probably help. Prior to flushing, siphon all the old fluid out of the reservoir and use clean Q-tips to swab out the bottom and remove all the debris you will probably find.
