Engine Mounts / Hinson
I tossed the mounts on the engine while it's out of the car and see that the factory nuts begin to deform the thread once the outside end makes contact with that thread. So I'm not clinching them up.
Were the oem nuts somehow staked?
I figure I'll just bring the mounts with me to the store and find some new grade 10 replacement nuts. Thought I'd check though.

Yeah I reckon that is what helps it stay tight. Look at the nut, mine had just a slight oblong look. At first I thought they were bad so I started comparing and calling. Even the cradle bolts seem the same. Supposedly it helps them stay tight 🤷🏻♂️
