I love my winter season square 18" setup on 285s. Affordable and rotatable. My current square is wagons at the rear and Z06 up front. After some brake repairs, it is almost time to go back to my summer wheels on the daily.
on my daily driver 04 Z06, I run all 4 rear Z06 wheels with 295s (currently Michelin Pilot Super Sports, but for the money I'm going with Continentals next set).

I just bought a square setup with Continentals for my daily and I'm still kind of shocked that the 295/35s were $300 each. I'm used to tires that are $300 for a set out the door price.

$300 for all four tires? They have to be budget and small for that surely.
Even on my "regular" old e46, the 225/245 tires were around $200+ a tire from memory for continental all seasons quite a few years ago.

Yes, regular car tires vs. Corvette tires. Somewhat jesting but I will have to change tires out every two years. I went from minitrucks with 195/50-15s to standard cars with 205/60s-ish. My wifes Mercedes has 225/40-18 and 255/35-18 and that's aboot $800 out the door.
