Default New tires

So just a tire review, for those looking for it.
I have a 99 , not a beauty queen. But modded and gets it done. The wheels i put on last year came with some moderately chewed up Bridgestone Potenza track tires. Those got hot and hooked up great. But rode harsh and noisy. And slipped if there was rain forecasted.
my car is 80% street slob, 20% smoke machine, and I wanted some tires that rode decent and I wouldn't have to worry about. I just had all 4 corners done in the pilot sport 4s. Put on about 200 miles. And I'm a fan. Quieter. Ride pretty nice. Can easily melt through second gear if that's the goal. I will update with more miles and conditions. But so far I am a fan.

do you have stock wheels? I’m looking for ps4’s and I can’t find them in stock sizes.

That explains it. Yeah ps4’s are amazing tires. They just don’t come in commonly used c5 sizes.

I did not get run flats. i have them on a set of forge stars i bought on the forum last year. fronts are 275/35/18, rears 305/35/19. I cant speak on long term anything yet. but they rode nice and quiet. and i didnt push them very hard but once warm they felt nice in the turns.

I put the PS4's on my Challenger Scat Pack. I went with the staggered set up, 285/20 front 295/20 rear. (going 305 rear when/if the 295's wear out). I really don't want to buy anything else. The ride, grip, feel and low noise, this is like the holy grail of a street tire. I kid you not, I went to this set up and my Scat Pack handles every bit as well as the 2018 Camaro SS I gave up for it.

I'm in need of tires, and to get these, I too have to change wheel size. I'm not going to invest 'Forgestar' money into this thing, but found some Flow One wheels that should work. Plus, I may go the bigger brake route at some point.

I'm getting a set of Pilot Sport's installed as soon as I get my truck back from the tranny shop, so I can take the wheels to the dealer.

Good choice in tires - I think you will be really pleased with the Michelins.

I had Potenzas on my wife's Jag. I found them to be horribly noisy, too. But they sure did grip when I drove the car like it was meant to be... spirited... She'd tell you reckless.. ha.

I have Pilot ZPs on my 99 convertible. They are a good compromise between quiet, performance, and not getting stuck in the west Utah desert with no jack. However, at peak torque, right around 4400 rpm, they do break loose on the back end. I have a buddy that keeps telling me to put Cup2's on the back. What do you know of that tire?
