New tires
I have a 99 , not a beauty queen. But modded and gets it done. The wheels i put on last year came with some moderately chewed up Bridgestone Potenza track tires. Those got hot and hooked up great. But rode harsh and noisy. And slipped if there was rain forecasted.
my car is 80% street slob, 20% smoke machine, and I wanted some tires that rode decent and I wouldn't have to worry about. I just had all 4 corners done in the pilot sport 4s. Put on about 200 miles. And I'm a fan. Quieter. Ride pretty nice. Can easily melt through second gear if that's the goal. I will update with more miles and conditions. But so far I am a fan.

I'm in need of tires, and to get these, I too have to change wheel size. I'm not going to invest 'Forgestar' money into this thing, but found some Flow One wheels that should work. Plus, I may go the bigger brake route at some point.

She'd tell you reckless.. ha.I have Pilot ZPs on my 99 convertible. They are a good compromise between quiet, performance, and not getting stuck in the west Utah desert with no jack. However, at peak torque, right around 4400 rpm, they do break loose on the back end. I have a buddy that keeps telling me to put Cup2's on the back. What do you know of that tire?
