Towing
Knock on wood I have never been stranded on the side of the road and needed to be towed but even with good maintenance practices it is still nearly a 20 year old vehicle. If I ever would need to call AAA or my insurance road service is there any special towing requirements needed for a C5 such as the type of tow truck, how they hook up the car, etc.?

Just had mine towed today.
When you speak with AAA, advise them this is a very low car and would be nice if the driver is familiar with Corvettes.
If they have a flat bed they will load it nose first. They must have some boards to go under the front wheels at the transition to the bed or it will damage the car. If you’re going very far, this is the best transport.
If they have a truck with axel lift, they need to place dollies under the cars front tires, and lift the rear axel for towing.

I agree that you certainly need to tell them that it is a LOW car. It will need to be a flat bed, and make sure that the driver has wheel casters.
