So I Crashed my Corvette at Barber MSP back in November. I've spent the winter rebuilding it (well, spent most of the time waiting on parts from less-than-reliable vendors). I have all the mechanical parts done, but I don't have the body work done yet. It goes to the shop Monday to get a set of L5 front and rear fenders put on. My club had an Autocross last Saturday, so I figured it would be a good idea to test it out and make sure it's as fixed as I think it is. I needed fenders to make it legal, so I did what any enterprising shitboxer would-- I made some!
Results-- second fastest raw time of the day, 5th in PAX. There are still some demons to work out though, and I don't think many of them are related to the crash. It's got a bad bearing on one of the hubs (notable vibration on hard left turns), there's an issue with the tune where the car doesn't want to stabilize at idle, and I'm getting TCS/ABS faults, likely related to an issue with the wiring in the LF.

Good time to put a jet engine on each side. If u dont find the fender or quarter panel. Forgot whats front or back.
My club is pretty chill anyway. We're pretty small so we all know each other. I'm sure people wouldn't be thrilled if I made a habit of it, but they all know I'm in the middle of a rebuild.
