Has anyone put one of these on their convertible? If so, did it help? I am 6'5" tall and the back of my head really get buffeted with the top down...thanks..
I bought the stock GM licensed one back in the day (in my basement now needing new mesh).
They work *great*.... REALLY cut down on the wind.
I'm only 6'1", so I don't know how the air currents will be up there for you -- but for me it's a night and day difference. You can actually have a conversation.
I have a factory windscreen on our Mercedes SL. Works great. As far as the C5 goes, the options are limited but search around.
FWIW; I don't have one in the Corvette. I prefer not to hear my wife telling me how to drive
So I've thought about getting a wind deflector for awhile now. Seem like a useful thing.
But what about putting up and taking the top down? Does it interfere with being able to work the top? It seems to me that it would be in the way...atleast somewhat.
How about rear vision? Do they limit your ability to see behind you in the mirror with the top up?
Or, depending on the brand someone buys, do they contact the top when it's up? I sure would hate to have it push on or rub on the top when it's up!

At least with the stock GM one, you have to take it off before putting the top up.
It's pretty simple, and once you get used to it, you can get it on and off in under a minute.
rear vision -- it's like looking out a screen. Not a big deal.
And IIRC, the rear view mirror sits higher than the partition anyway. I don't remember it ever restricting review vision, even at night.
We have a wonderful deflector etched with the pace car logo and lighted. Easy to install and going 70 with the top fine and windows up and wife doesn’t mind it and you can still talk and listen to music. No wind buffeting.
