so, today, i decided i would upgrade my car instead of leave it alone. Got my headlight and foglight LEDs done. Went to replace the light in the hood, and boom blown fuse. Replaced
#29 fuse, and hood light, working again. Interior lights still wont come on. checked #2 fuse, and swapped 42 relay at auto parts store, and nothing. Maplights work if i turn the switch on.
I feel ill since I just got this car and now have messed it up. I am taking it to the dealer monday for a tpms sensor, and really don't want to deal with what they may charge, as it has to be something simple.
I have searched and searched, and am at a loss.
Did you run down the battery doing your light install? That's what happened to me, I thought I had fried the computer, the car was going wacko. Hooked it up to a tender/charger and an hour later it was totally fine.
Mr. Sam, an long time CF member electrical guru that is unfortunately no longer with us, told me never, NEVER, do anything electrical without disconnecting the negative battery cable. Food for thought for future projects.
