Well its been along time since I've been here---Health problems---. My C5 has finally developed the dreaded abs--traction control warning lights. I'm just asking about absfixer if they are still in business? Thanks for the replies.

yes they are as far as I know. Give them a call! Also make sure you check your codes first. There are other problems that can throw that dash light other than the ebcm. (For example 1287 steering wheel position sensor).

If you are handy, most of the 01 and newer EBCM isues are a common solder joint that cracks from heat cycling. Pretty easy fix- I did min 4 years ago with the help from a thread I found right here in the wonderful Corvette Forum.

You are spot on. My 2000 C5 has needed a new steering sensor for so long, they've quit making them! DUH on me. Woulda, shoulda, coulda bought a new one 15 years ago, but didn't. I have the Service Vehicle Soon/Service Traction Control message, but the EBCM seems fine. Anyway, no EBCM codes, but steering sensor codes. Ive lived with it. I am going to get a steering sensor soon.......

Well ABS FIXER is still in business. I had them do my ECBM and ALL IS WELL Quick turn around and VERY helpful. It's nice not to worry about the warning lights. Can't say the same about FedEx though. Lost my package and it ended up in Montana? Delayed a bit in coming back also. Still received it after about 10 days. All in all I guess it worked out.

Fix it yourself, it's a simple fix with a soldering iron.

Make sure it's actually the ABS that is the issue. While doing a motor mount install yesterday I put everything back together only to have my dash light up and a bunch of codes.

Cleared the codes only to have one "LF Wheel sensor circuit 0". Ended up being I somehow unplugged the speed sensor. Plugged it back in and all is well.
