A couple decades ago I had a SBC with headers and aluminum heads. Every time I drove that car (32 Ford) I let it cool down overnight and had to re-tighten the header bolts the next morning.
On my C5 I have never had these headers leak and never need to tighten the header bolts in four years. Not complaining!!!
The headers were already wrapped and I do not know what brand they are.
I don't know why, just curious.

On my Jeep CJ 304 V8 I used Stage 8 (brand name) locking header bolts to solve a persistent exhaust leak. Next car I do headers on (probably this C5Z) I will definitely use them again. They require some custom shaping of the slip-on locking tabs to get the best fit, but easy with a Dremel and well worth the extra time and care.
