I've got the common issue where my headliner is coming apart. I've seen posts before were people created fiberglass headliners with offers to produce them for sale, but of course now I can't find any. Is anyone producing an aftermarket headliner these days? I'd like to avoid buying a used one because I see that as just an eventual road right back the problems I'm currently having.
I looked for a couple years before I found a used one on ebay in fair condition that wasn't too outrageously priced. Shipping alone was ~$200 IIRC. My old one was water damaged.
Caravaggio has headliner listed on their website, don't know if that is new or used or they are recovering your old one.
Another option is if you have a good auto upholsterer near you they could make one, might be able to gain some headroom going this route. They might also be able to fix your old one if it's not too far gone.
I think this is the thread you were thinking of : Fiberglass headliner would not be my choice.
