Local Macco believe it or not, still needs a little work but they did a pretty good job. Took the hood and fuel door to them so they had something to match
Thanks guys, pretty happy with the look. Fair point about the rain, car typically doesn't see rain but you never know. High 80s today normal street driving for twenty minutes couple aggressive pulls. Pulled into the garage, oil temp was 214° not a good hard test, but to compare I it would see 220s pretty quick
These are definitely on my list. I don't drive in the rain since my car is a track vehicle but what about washing? I always give my Vette a good, well deserved scrub after a track weekend. Anybody come up with a makeshift cover or water deflector to be used during a Sunday afternoon detail session?
There is another member here with trackspec hood setup and he lives in Florida and often drives the car in the rain. So far it's been a non issue.
I've had Trackspec vents on my car a few years now. Caught in two flash storms with torrential rains. No issues whatsoever. The vents also have not been an issue when car washing and hose spraying to rinse. Barely any water makes its way into the engine bay.

No big deal. I wash mine (usually) every other Sunday and use the pressure washer right over the vents. With my larger center vent, I KIND OF want to make a shield for the alternator, but everything else is perfectly fine.
