My 2004 vert was in need of seat update or replacement. It was original with 114000 miles before my update. I watched YouTube for ideas on just replacing the seat, but in the end, I just freshened the stock. I purchased ridies leather and pfyc foam replacements. The job of removing and replacing the foam and leather was pretty straight forward. There are a few videos covering the process. My drivers side air pump was not working, so I ordered a replacement. It is not here yet. Otherwise, everything went smoothly. I also added heated seat pads under. However, I have not yet connected the electrical.

Your seats should be so much more comfortable with the new foam and the heated seats will be great in cooler weather. And the red stitching looks good..
Looks great. How does the heated seat turn on? I'm assuming it just has a separate button to do this? You have links to where you purchased these? I have an 04 Vert, with 24K miles, Seats are still OK, but starting to show there age.
Amazon provided a great DIY kit with multiple heat levels. All you need is a 20-amp power port and ground.
With great patience, I installed these in my 2008 Saturn ASTRA (RIP - )
I will install these into my 98 Coupe when I'm ready to redo the seats. The seat heater switches will easily fit on either side of the shifter console.
The new foam is very comfortable. I'm sure many might want more support that aftermarket may provide, but I'm happy.
I have not wired the switch in for heat, but I bought from Amazon. Its pretty simple to install. If you can do the foam, you have enough skill for heated pads.
Double din with switches to heated seat Switches mounted
I wired in the heated seats. The supplied wiring and switches were fine. The wires had an adapter to tap into a fuse in the fuse box, easy.
I put the switches in the console because there is no room anywhere else. Plus they are out of the way and won't accidentally get turned on. It is a key switched circuit to save the battery.
