Has anyone tried the steering wheel cover offered by the following? If yes, how is it after long period of time of the use?
I don't seem to find any thread on the wheel cover but wonder if anybody has any recommendation. Replacing the whole wheel looks great but $1,000....
Thanks!
I bought mine from Mid America Corvettes back in 2006. Still on there, still looks good. If you can put shoe laces on new shoes, you can do the sewing. Not exactly as pictured in your post, but mighty close. Mine is two-tone leather, red and black, because I have a Torch Red C5. I would buy the product again, if I had a different Vette. Best of luck to you......
I've heard good things about redline. I don't have one myself as I went with a fully custom carbon fiber wheel. The best wheel covers do require you to be able to sew them on. I would imagine they hold up about as well as any other regularly handled leather product.
I have bought some products from Redline and their quality is top notch.
Before I bought anything from them I did buy a steering wheel cover from Wheelskins. It has been on the car for about 8 years. Shows some wear, but still looks good.
