Door projectors
install was simple, two wires. I tied into DDM C1 pin 1 (12v feed) and pin 10 (door ajar switch, complete to ground). Lights illuminate any time the door is open.
they aren't bright enough to be seen in direct daylight, but they show up in the garage and look great at night. Maybe a bit rice... but I like them.!

tools needed:
interior trim removal tool
T30 screwdriver
wire strippers
pin removal tool
drill
hole saw bit (supplied with puddle lights)
Remove door card:
2x T30 screws behind pull handle are easily accessed by prying or the small access panel.
next, remove the release handle bezel by carefully prying it loose. This is the worst part, that thing is a pain... you will curse. Then pry out the window switch panel and disconnect it. Starting at the bottom corner with the removal tool, pry the push pins loose among the bottom. The door card will now swing out from the bottom and lift up to release the 2 clips on the top.
Swing out and up
Now that the door card is off you can measure and mark a location for the hole. Drill up from the bottom. You can access inside the door through the rubber barrier. It will pull away easily and restick just fine.
unplug connector one from the door module. I dint recall the pins on the passenger side, they were different from drivers. Orange and black for passenger and orange and grey/ black in driver side. A multimeter will help here. You want one with vintage when the door is open, but if when closed.
remove the red retainer top access the pins. With the pin tool, carefully remove the desired pin one at a time, noting its location to go back into. Wrap a bit of the puddle light wire around the upper portion of the pin (threaded through your hole first) and replace the pin. It will be snug, but the wire is run and will fit fine. Once your done with both and it tests fine you can button it all back up. Tighten the but Dien good and use the set screw after getting the lights straight (I lost one and had to use locktite).
one door took about 45-60 minutes tops. That includes a 4yo helping me, so...

hope this helps, it's a pretty easy task and they look nice. He is making a Z06 set that should be available soon if your inclined to go that route.
