Kool Sox cleaning.....
As title kinda says, has anyone found a way to effectively wash/clean Kool Sox plug wire heat protection boots? Mine are 17 years old, and pretty dirty. I was thinking washing by hand with laundry detergent, but if someone has a better idea, I'm all for it! Maybe bleach? Anyone??! Thanks, guys

I think your idea of hand washing is a good one. I'd try a mix of water and Dawn dish soap. A handheld steamer might help too.

I'm wondering if bleach would be too harsh?

Honestly, I think Dawn will be more effective than bleach anyway. Dawn cuts grease. I'm not sure what bleach would do to them.
