Still needs some work, but WB conversion is looking pretty decent
I finally managed to get the car out and get some pictures. This car has been rebuilt from a pretty bad crash at the track back in November. The body work has taken a lot more time and work than originally expected. The fenders I got from L5 were not very good and required a lot of fitting. They're STILL not quite right, especially the LF fender. I had to take the car back as-is to get it ready for an autocross next weekend, but the body shop guy wants it back ASAP to work that fender a bit more.
Overall I'm really liking the widebody look, but if I had to do it all over again I'm not sure if it would be worth the effort and expense vs just going with new OEM fenders. I can fit a good bit wider tires in the back, but I'm running the same size in the front as I was running before, just with less poke.
I LOVE it. To me it looks great with the wheels because its different. I feel like a lot of people run similar looking wheels on the WB cars or non WB cars.
I think it's just the angle in that pic. The roof wasn't repainted, but matches the fender in that pic. Also matches about right in person
I'm glad you've got it back on track, pun intended. From what I remember seeing, you've done a Helluva lot of work, and it shows. The car has come a long way!!
Looks good, I thought the front tires looked wide. I like the wheels. Notice any down side with the fronts, any rubbing?
I ran the same size up front on OEM Z06 rear wheels before the crash. I'd get just the slightest kiss of a rub at the 12 o'clock position right where the inner fender met the painted outer fender, but nothing to be concerned about. This only happened under heavy suspension load. It will also rub the fatass LG sway bars at full wheel lock. I don't consider either of those conditions to be a big problem.

The car is looking great just from the pics - the wide body styling goes perfect with the C5. Post up some more pics when your body shop gets the panel alignment just right.
