So initially I got a cd burner and some blank cds because I felt like that would be pretty cool to have my different playlist on cds but the problem with that is I literally can't burn the music to the cd because with apple music and other streaming platforms you don't technically own the music. Saying all that to say I'm looking for a good bluetooth adapter with good sound quality for a c5, I checked the forum and found one and I checked out some others on amazon but the reviews have kinda scared me off. Anyone got any suggestions ?
Eventually I'm going to replace the head unit with a touch screen display with apple car play and what not but that's a little further down the line. Just need a fix for now until then.
Not sure of your age but, while cruising at the age of 79, I listen to music I grew up with on CD's I purchased years ago. I made copies and play them from the trunk changer. It works for me and the sound from my OME sound system is just fine even with the top down in the Vert.
I got a ROAV brand from Walmart for 30$ - looks very similar to the one you linked, but not the same. The issue is radio interference. sound quality is fine except for that. I havent played around enough with it to perhaps find the "best" static channel to use, but it gets the job done. There is irritating white noise at all times. sometimes worse than others. It's not a perfect solution but it works well enough. I don't think the most expensive unit in the world will solve that issue - but I could be wrong.
Just one of the treats we get for owning a 20+ year old car.

It’s not Bluetooth but worked great for me regarding playing music. I installed this adapter in my 04. Worked great ! It allowed me to listen to any music that I had in my iPhone library! You still used controls on radio volume, forward , reverse etc and charged iPhone while plug in to connector. Took about 1/2 to 3/4 of a hour to install. It was fairly simple to install . It plugs into back of radio and I had unit behind ash tray lighter area and had plug that connects to iPhone run into center console. I had it in car for about 5 years until I traded in car .
If you decide to order on make sure you order correct one depending if your car has a rear CD changer or not , mind didn’t have rear cd changer.
