Default Throttle body's ???

Hello All,
I have a 2001 C5. The throttle body is drive by wire as you all know. My question is where are any after market or stock Throttle bodies for sale? I can find hundreds of Drive by cable. Only a few that are Drive by wire but they dont have a TPS sensor on the side.

So what and where is everyone buying them from?

You have a couple of options. BBK makes a 80mm tb for the C5, or what most do is go with the LS2 tb(silver blade). LS2 tb and a Fast 90 intake manifold is a common upgrade and will net some decent horsepower.

Is it possible I have to get this harness to adapt to a drive by wire without the TPS?

you have to swap your stock motor and tps onto it.

stock is 78mm. For $400 it’s a waste of money. Low value for the hp gain

I recommend OEM throttle body even in performance installations and custom setups.

Use forced induction to make power while keeping the OEM parts on an engine to maintain reliability and functionality.

Its too easy to screw up the engine not knowing how to diagnose it properly while using aftermarket parts.

If you can read 98KPA or 101KPA on the map sensor during WOT it doesn't need a throttle body anyways

The LS2 throttle body swap seems to be a popular one. You can find them for sale right here on the forum.
