It has took a long time to get most of the bugs worked out from the last build. The car makes about 609 RWHP SAE. Still have a couple of items to address but I think I am just going to drive it the rest of the summer. HPR done the engine and RPM done the level IV diff with 3.90 gears.

Damn! I bet that's a blast to drive! Probably a bit of a handful. How 'bout some info on that engine. Cam specs etc. More pics too!
The cam is a comp cams. 658/658, duration 246/254. LSA is111+4. Johnsons copo LS 7 lifters. ARP rod bolts, head studs and main stud kit. The block was in good shape and only needed a touch up in the bores new bore size 4.130. Mahle forged pistons on the factory titanium rods. However Calico recoated them. A C5R timing chain, Mamo ported MSD intake with NW 103 throttlebody. The heads have been reworked by AHP and have new Del West titanium valves the heads were decked.020 and cometic head gaskets seal every thing up. Final compression ratio is 11.7:1. It is a blast to drive and the acceleration is just brutal.

I busted 2nd gear 2 years ago and had a local speed shop rebuild the transmission and install a 30 spline output shaft that was also the first RPM level IV diff. I have since had to do another RPM level IV diff. I shifted from 1st to 2nd at about 7200 and the diff housing busted. Power is fun until you break something.
Impressive power level from the car - has to be fun when you get pushed back in the seat after hitting the throttle.
As I said before the acceleration is absolutely brutal with the 3.90 gears and the MN 12 Transmission gearing. You will be on the Rev limiter in 2nd gear before you know it. I tried to upload a video of the idle but for some reason I can't get it to load. The car is a lot of fun and is probably my favorite car build.
Similar C5 builds. Very cool !
I had to put on the C5 zo6 wheels just to fit more rubber, good times.
What’s your radiator/oil cooling set-up ?
I just took this car out on a high desert run (La to Lancaster) and it really is hard to explain the experience. When the build was finally completed, suspension, corner balanced and it is JUST SO perfect. So fast, planted and powerful vs anything else I have driven, had built or owned.

I have a DeWitas Radiator with built in oil cooler, and DeWitt dual fans.Howevere if I had it to do over again I would probably use a separate oil cooler. You are absolutely correct with your assessment of how these cars feel. I have owned some fast cars in the past but nothing that feels as good to drive as this one.
