A full replacement requires dash removal, which is a fairly involved process (takes several hours). I believe they make HUD panel overlays that are just slightly bigger and will cover over the old one, and will be held on with double-sided tape or something like that. This would take almost no time and may be worth looking into.

I know that I have seen these, but I can't remember where at the moment.
Right after purchasing my C5 vert with HUD, it was suggested to get a dash cover not only to protect the dash but also the HUD plastic bezel. Might be to late to do for yours but it you do replace it, consider getting a cover that does not have the cut out for the HUD. I just remove mine when, in those very rare instances, I use the HUD.

and the bezel overlay would be a simple way to cover the cracked bezel without a lot of remove and replace work.
