A CF wheel is one of the best looking things you can do to dress up the C5 interior.

The extra wheel thickness also feels great in the hand

the swap is not difficult. Got to be careful about handling the airbag. Get a free loaner steering wheel puller from Autozone.Thats about it. If you were closer. I would upgrade for you.

Very nice! I also have a VQCarbonCustoms wheels. Very high quality, but super long wait times. I'm sure you've had that on order for many months. Congrats on finally getting it. I was the first to get a C5 matte carbon fiber wheel from them.

My c5 is torch red. Love the red and black interior, and steering wheel. Some day I’ll have something like that.

Did you have to send in your old steering wheel as a core for them to build the new steering wheel? If you don’t mind sharing, what was the cost? Where did you get your automatic gear shifter from?

Both items purchased on Ebay. Steering wheel from vqcarbon customs 950.00 outright, no exchange, but it takes awhile to receive. But worth it!. Item # 124901600183. The shifter **** is a Cadillac piece...03-07 CTS, STS, SRX.. Had to add a short (1/2 to 3/4 inch) actuator rod extender for the release to operate properly. Not a big deal. Thanks for the interest. Both items look really sharp.

I wonder how they dyed plastic? I would've thought they had been painted Torch red......
