I watched this show the other night. They take a C5 and rebuild it. It's a Z06. Pretty cool. They have an issue with the EBCM and the show is old enough where they actually took it to a Corvette shop and the tech rebuilt it! They change the clutch too. Have any of you watched this?
Yep I’ve seen that episode and loved it! I was just going through my EBCM rebuild at the time so that was great. Installing a new clutch in mine right now too. Probably my favorite episode they’ve ever done.
I used to watch this show. It's fun. Being that it's a Z06, it's at least a '01 or newer. As such, the EBCM can still be rebuilt even today. Thanks for sharing.
Watched it a few years back. Ant was the best second half on that show.
Agree on that. They looked at a buddy's 67 GTO when they did the GTO show in Chicago. I went over that car pretty well when he bought it. They said it had a new trunk floor. Never noticed it. Funny as they said about the price, "Well, as you know, price isn't really a consideration."
I really liked this episode the best since it’s a C5.
Before that are 2 other Corvette they, well the older mechanic and the host have fixed up.
I think a 1968 Corvette and it needed new valve seals on the 327 that someone got out of a Camaro, the Holly carb rear section wasn’t working so only running on 2 barrels fixed that, and swapped out the points in distributor for electronic.
I think that one was in the USA and they both take turns driving it and it seemed to run great with plenty of power for a 327.
Also a really old Corvette late 1950s or early 1960s, it was in England and the tall mechanic was adjusting front drum brakes, on a tool they have there that measures each wheels on rollers when you press on brakes right brake wasn’t working as good.
I hear now they are getting a 3rd mechanic, not sure why guys get fired or quit.

I saw the C3 episode with the Red car. I think some of these guys move on like Arron Kaufmann of Gas Monkey fame. I owned a shop that was on the first episode of "Pinks." We were on another one later on in the series. Different car. BBC 96 Camaro. 538 ci on spray. 9.40s @ 140s.
My involvement with these shows really opened my eyes to the "production" licenses they take to make the show interesting.
My buddy has been involved in Street Outlaws lately. They were racing in Joliet Ill.
