Nice review, +1 on that compressor! for a 12v portable, I don't see anything out there that comes close.
I had bought the same one -- 4 actually, for each car. those little units are great.
Pair that with a tire repair kit and a can of fix-a-flat, and I don't feel *too* uncomfortable riding without a spare.
Nice ZJ by the way -- I had a '98 5.9 zj for a while as my daily, loved that truck :-) Been offroading in an '88 xj, not a ton left on that truck that's original.

How do you use fix-a-flat without plugging up the TPMS?

I don't. I would only use that if I was stranded and had no other options and the tire reapir kit for some reason wasn't holding. Absolute last line of defense.
IIRC, chevy actually used to ship the z06 with a can of fix-a-flat and a small compressor.
most modern repair kits include an awl to clean up the hole, and grease to help the patch go in eaiser-- most mechanics have those types in their tow trucks
