Has anyone sourced or come up with a proper grommet to fit to the firewall on install? I've done it once and it worked okayish. Someone other than myself installed one on the Z06 before it came to me though and its a hack job.
Any great ways to fully close up the hole in a tidy fashion?
I used a factory grommet and slit it. Was a little challenging to install considering it has to be done after the Tilton MC goes in. Also I think I could do a better job than you can see in the picture if I took more time.
See that's not bad. My first one is probably on par with that. The one on the Z06 got a slap job and they took a good 15 degrees or more out of it. Maybe I should do what I can and then hit it with the 3M weather stripping rtv goop.
